Fishers hospital is the first in Indiana to seek LEED for Healthcare certification

The recently completed St. Vincent Fishers Hospital includes 131,177 square feet of new construction and 33,500 square feet of renovated space. The project started in late fall/early winter 2011. and the new four-story inpatient facility opened April 8, 2013. It offers women’s and family healthcare services, surgery, and inpatient care services.

According to the article, the facility includes 30 medical/surgical patient rooms, six medical/surgical observation rooms, 10 labor and delivery/recovery/postpartum rooms, two maternity observation rooms, a newborn nursery, a C-section procedure room, and two spa rooms. St. Vincent Fishers is the first hospital in Indiana to seek LEED for Healthcare (LEED-HC) certification.
