Are you considering joining the Healthier Hospitals Initiative (HHI)? Or have you already enrolled in an HHI challenge but have questions about data measures, submission details or frequency of reporting?

Janet Brown, HHI director of content and outreach, will host a sharing call, titled “What is the Right HHI Challenge for Your Facility?” on May 17 at 2 p.m. Eastern to review each of the HHI challenges, data submission requirements and other details.

HHI is a collaborative effort between some of the most influential U.S. health systems, Health Care Without Harm, the Center for Health Design and Practice Greenhealth to create a guide for hospitals to reduce energy and waste, choose safer and less toxic products, and purchase and serve healthier foods.

The HHI Challenges are focused on these areas in facility management:

- Engaged Leadership
- Healthier Food
- Leaner Energy
- Less Waste
- Safer Chemicals
- Smarter Purchasing
