Arizona's largest healthcare provider is partnering with grocery stores

Arizona's largest healthcare provider is partnering with Safeway grocery stores to open retail clinics in Chandler, Tempe and Tucson, according to an article on the AZ Central website.

A Banner spokesman said all three locations will run 365 days a year, with one family nurse practitioner stationed at each location.

The clinics will treat allergic reactions, common colds, coughs, earaches, pinkeye, stomach aches, strep throat and urinary tract infections.

The clinics also will provide physical exams and vaccinations but will not offer labs or imaging services nor urgent care.
