Control and monitor chemical use in correctional foodservice applications with new tamperproof dispensing systems from sunburst chemicals

MINNEAPOLIS, MN – Sunburst Chemicals introduces Tamperproof Enclosures for correctional foodservice applications. Specifically designed for operation with Sunburst’s R2U600, WWD100L and WWR200L dispensers, Tamperproof Enclosures meet chemical access control and usage monitoring needs in corrections environments. Sunburst’s solid chemicals and tamperproof dispensing systems combine to promote controlled access, simplified training, improved safety, reduced space requirements and rapid fill rates.

“Most facilities have inmates working in their kitchens, and our tamperproof enclosures promote controlled usage to help satisfy a facility’s security/safety demands,” says Jennifer Upchurch, Corrections Market Development Manager. “Tamperproof dispensers feature a compact space saving design for easy mounting, even in space-restricted areas. They also eliminate operator judgments (operators simply turn a valve handle to deliver ready-to-use solution) and contact with concentrated chemicals for increased safety and reduced liability, with adjustable dispensing at up to 6.5 gal/min.”

Correctional facilities that use solid concentrated cleaning chemicals also benefit from reduced storage requirements and shipping costs. Each solid capsule contains 100% active ingredients and provides the equivalent of up to seven gallons of liquid detergent concentrate.

Sunburst Chemicals is on the forefront of environmentally friendly cleaning technology, and has been since it first began producing solid cleaning chemicals in the early 1980’s. With products that are DfE certified, as an active member of CleanGredients™, and using Lean Manufacturing practices, Sunburst Chemicals has the expertise and the products to deliver the best environmental solutions for your cleaning needs.
