The Designers Lighting Forum of New York announced that due to outstanding response of exhibitors and attendees alike, LEDucation 8 has expanded to a 2-day event and will be held at a new location to accommodate more exhibitors.  LEDucation 8, historically known as the largest single day exhibition and educational event dedicated solely to the ever-evolving LED market and technology, will return to New York City on March 18-19th, 2014 in a new 2-day format and in a new venue – the Sheraton NY Times Square hotel.

“As LEDucation has continued to sell out exhibit space each year and we have continued to experience record attendance, the volunteer committee felt that 2014 provided us with a great opportunity to expand the show,” commented Co-Chair Burt Grant.  “By relocating the event to a larger facility, we can now accommodate more exhibitors that have been on a long wait list and also enable more people to attend the educational sessions by hosting them over a two day period.”

LEDucation 8 will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 18 - 19, 2014 in New York City with a new 2-day format and new event location.

Hosted by the Designers Lighting Forum of New York, LEDucation has gained a regular following over the years and continues to attract record crowds with over 3,000 attendees in 2013 and a sold out show floor of 175+ exhibitors. LEDucation features the industry’s top authorities addressing and discussing the latest advancements, trends, and regulations in solid state technology and lighting.  Attendees are able to participate in a variety of accredited educational seminars held throughout the day and attend an exposition to view the latest LED luminaires, controls and energy efficient designs and advancements from leading LED manufacturers.

Wednesday, March 19th, 2014, 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. EST

Continuing Educational Accredited presentations will be announced in January with a detailed schedule.  Check the LEDucation website (leducation.org) for details on speakers and specific sessions.

Cost: 

No charge for DLF and IES members (pre-registration required, $30 if registering on site), $25 for all others (pre-registration required).  Students are encouraged to attend as a complimentary guest with preregistration and ID.
