Nemschoff named top healthcare brand for third consecutive year in Contract Magazine

By Healthcare Facilities Today

For the third year in a row, Nemschoff has been named the number one brand in healthcare furniture in an annual survey by Contract magazine. The survey, conducted by an independent research firm, asked subscribers to name the top three brands in 32 categories without the aid of prompts or lists.

“It’s gratifying to see that our efforts to help architects, designers, and their clients work well, get well, and live well are resonating and making an impact,” said Louise McDonald, President of Herman Miller Healthcare. “Within all of our solutions, we leverage the power of space to create adaptive environments that are more efficient for caregivers, better  for patients, and smarter for business.”

Nemschoff is part of Herman Miller Healthcare, a subsidiary of industry leader Herman Miller. The companies design, develop, and  manufacture the most complete range of interior solutions for health care systems. With more than 80 years of combined experience within the healthcare industry, they use their deep understanding of these environments to help clients think strategically about the importance of their interior space and facilities.

The 2013 Contract Brand Report Awareness Survey asked a random sample of Contract subscribers to identify the top three manufacturers in 32 categories. All responses were unaided – no brand name prompts or lists were provided to assure that responses were unbiased. The survey was conducted by Aspen Media and Market Research and provides a statistically valid set of results.
