New hospital planned for booming Texas region

Memorial Hermann Health System plans 80-bed facility in Cypress


Memorial Hermann Health System is planning a new 80-bed hospital for the booming Cypress, Texas, region, according to an article on the Healthcare Construction + Operations website. The area’s population of more than 355,000 is expected to grow by nearly 100,000 over the next decade.

In addition to an acute care hospital, the facility will include an emergency center and medical office building with primary care and ambulatory services. The hospital will have eight operating rooms, a 16-bed intensive care unit and a neonatal intensive care unit.

The hospital will have the capacity to grow inpatient beds to 275 to accommodate future growth.
