Predictions for healthcare IT listed on Health Data Management website


Some predictions for healthcare IT issues in 2017 were listed in an article on the Health Data Management website.

The "sure things" category included ransomware and accidental oversharing in SaaS apps.

Medical staff use cloud file-sharing SaaS apps, like Box, Dropbox and Google Drive because they offer easy file sharing.

The "long shots" list include a cyberattack on a medical device will cause the first confirmed injury to a patient.
