ST. PAUL, Minn. — 3M is expanding its chemical offering for its innovative Twist ’n Fill System™  to include a disinfectant that kills germs in three minutes or less. The 3M™ Disinfectant Cleaner RCT Concentrate 40L is specially formatted to cut cleaning time and quickly wipe out a broad spectrum of bacteria, viruses and fungi.

Designed for use in healthcare facilities, schools and more, 3M Disinfectant Cleaner RCT Concentrate cleans, disinfects and deodorizes frequently touched hard surfaces such as bedrails, call buttons, bedside tables, doors and more. The number of applications for the cleaner is matched only by the range of micro-organisms it kills, including:

· Bactericidal: kills many pathogenic bacteria of Healthcare Associated Infections (HAI) concern

· Fungicidal: kills Trichophyton mentagrophytes (athlete’s foot fungus) in 3 minutes

· Virucidal: kills HIV-1 and Influenza Type A in 1 minute or less

Featuring a single, compact dispenser designed to accurately mix and dispense 3M Disinfectant Cleaner RCT Concentrate, the system delivers effective, economical dilutions for consistent cleaning performance. 

Each 2-liter bottle of 3M Disinfectant Cleaner RCT Concentrate 40L will produce 123 ready-to-use gallons of disinfectant cleaner. 3M Disinfectant Cleaner RCT Concentrate is also available in 1-gallon bottles (not for use in the Twist ’n Fill System) that will produce 257 gallons of disinfectant cleaner (when diluted at a 1:256 ratio).
