AHE launches new online training for healthcare environmental services

The Association for the Healthcare Environment (AHE) of the American Hospital Association has introduced a new education program in collaboration with Clorox Healthcare.

The Association for the Healthcare Environment (AHE) of the American Hospital Association has introduced a new education program in collaboration with Clorox Healthcare.

Free to AHE members, the Engage Platform includes seven online courses and nine on-demand webinars to aid environmental services professionals in professional development and career advancement. 

Each of the 60-minute webinars qualifies for 1 hour of continuing professional education (CPE) credit, and the online courses qualify for between 4 and 12 CPE credits, depending on the course. 

Online courses include such subjects as:
Foundations for Success in Environmental Services Management
Essentials of Infection Prevention and Environmental Hygiene

While on-demand webinars cover topics like: 

Shiny Floors: The Real Deal
Doing More with Less
What Makes a Great EVS Department?
