The American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE) offers a seminar for new or aspiring healthcare facility managers called “Healthcare Facility Management Fundamentals.”

Formerly titled “Boot Camp for Healthcare Facility Managers,” the two-day program will educate attendees on the following:

• Key codes and standards that impact healthcare facilities management and the FM’s role in the compliance process
• How to navigate the Life Safety Code and the emergency management process
• The steps in the PDC process and how healthcare facilities operation and construction impact infection

 

The course also aids attendees in creating a plan for professional development as it relates to healthcare facilities management.
