Accreditation surveys offer lessons in compliance

AAAHC has analyzed compliance data from surveys to identify the accreditation standards with which organizations struggle

The deficiencies revealed in the report include:

• Failure to identify staff members responsible for compliance of the fire alarm system, automatic sprinkler system, alternate power source equipment and portable fire extinguishers

• Failure to notify the fire alarm monitoring company before and after each test or maintenance activity
