Acuity Brands Lighting named Leadership Circle Partner of BOMA International

Acuity Brands Lighting, a leading provider of LED lighting, lighting controls and related products and services, announced that it has become part of the Partnership Program of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International. As a Leadership Circle Partner, Acuity Brands pledges to support BOMA’s critical work in advocacy, education and research.

BOMA International’s Partnership Program, developed in 2004, allows companies to invest in their own success, as well as that of the commercial real estate industry more broadly. With three levels of participation—Cornerstone Partner, Leadership Circle Partner and Supporting Partner—the program demonstrates the commitment of leading organizations to support BOMA International with the resources to advance its various initiatives that benefit the entire commercial real estate industry.

“We are pleased to have Acuity Brands as a Leadership Circle Partner,” commented BOMA International Chair Kent C. Gibson, BOMA Fellow, president of Capstone Property Management, L.C. “With their industry knowledge and expertise, Acuity Brands’ participation in the Partnership Program will help BOMA International continue to support our members and the commercial real estate industry as a whole.”

“At Acuity Brands, we are committed to sustainable business practices, and we are extremely proud to team up with BOMA International, a leader in commercial real estate sustainability,” said John Camp, vice president of Commercial Office and Education Vertical Markets for Acuity Brands Lighting. “We strongly believe BOMA’s commitment to green education, research and best practices complements our own commitment to bringing high performance and innovation to commercial properties around the world.”
