Insight Hospital and Medical Center Falls to Data Breach

The investigation determined that an unauthorized individual accessed the network between August 22, 2025, and September 11, 2025.

Insight Hospital and Medical Center are providing notice of a recent data security incident that may have involved personal and/or protected health information.  

In September 2025, it learned of unusual activity within its network. In response, it immediately took measures to investigate the activity and to secure its systems. In addition, it engaged cybersecurity experts to thoroughly investigate the incident. The investigation determined that an unauthorized individual accessed the network between August 22, 2025, and September 11, 2025, along with certain files and data stored within the network. It is conducting an extensive review of these systems to identify the specific information accessed during the window of network access. Upon completion of this review, it will provide notice to all individuals whose information could have been involved. 

Based on its understanding of the documents that may have been accessed, the following information could be involved: name, Social Security number, date of birth, driver’s license number, passport number, financial account information, and treatment related information, including health insurance information.  

It investigated the suspicious activity immediately upon its discovery to confirm its nature and scope, and it will continue to investigate so it can notify any individuals whose information was accessed during the incident. It also continues to implement measures to enhance security and minimize the risk of a similar incident occurring in the future.
