Work has begun on a $21 million expansion at an Agnesian HealthCare facility in Fond du Lac, Wis., according to an article on the Post-Crescent's website.

The 100,000-square-foot project will allow the health care provider to consolidate its podiatry services, expand its space for orthopedics and Sports, Spine and Work Center, and relocate physiatry, neurology services, the dialysis center and Agnesian Health Shoppe to the complex.

“By increasing our facility size, we will be able to bring together similar services for greater patient convenience, expand care space to accommodate patient growth, and introduce new programs and services to keep health care services at a local level,” the article quoted Bonnie Schmitz, vice president and chief financial officer, as saying.
