Amazon, Berkshire Hathaway and JPMorgan Chase announced a partnership to cut healthcare costs and improve services for their U.S. employees, according to an article on the CNBC website.
The companies together employ more than 1.1 million workers. The partnership will launch an independent operation designed to eliminate profit-making incentives.
The partnership will target technology solutions to simplify the healthcare system.
There were few details of the plan, but the principals said that the sheer size alone will provide scale and resources to tackle the issue.
