Armstrong Ceiling Solutions Adds New Blade Lengths to MetalWorks Blades – Classics

Armstrong® Ceiling Solutions has expanded its portfolio of linear design options with the addition of two new blade lengths to its line of MetalWorks™ Blades — Classics™.

The durable new vertical panels will measure 24" and 48" in length and offer an upscale linear look along with excellent acoustical performance. They will join an existing family of MetalWorks Blades — Classics panels that measure 96" in length.

The new blade lengths will provide architects and designers with more flexibility to achieve custom-looking signature ceiling designs with standard items, including striated, geometric, herringbone, cellular, linear, and many other visuals. Non-parallel divergent linear looks can be created as well.

Acoustical and Non-Acoustical Options

All MetalWorks Blades — Classics are available as perforated or unperforated panels. MetalWorks Blades with a standard perforation pattern provide 0.3 sabins of sound absorption per linear foot. The blades actually provide greater sound absorption than a continuous ceiling of the same surface area because sound is absorbed on both sides.

MetalWorks Blades panels are available in nine standard colors including White, Silver Grey, and Gun Metal Grey, plus six Effects™ Wood Looks finishes, including Maple, Cherry, Dark Cherry, Walnut, Walnut Espresso, and Oak. Custom RAL colors are also available.

Made from durable aluminum for lighter, easier handling, the blades are easily installed on a standard 15/16" Armstrong Prelude® suspension system, are seismic tested, and have a Class A fire rating.

Join Growing Portfolio of Linear Visual Products

MetalWorks Blades – Classics panels are part of a broad portfolio of linear visual products Armstrong Ceilings offers across a wide range of materials and finishes, including MetalWorks Blades — Concepts, MetalWorks Linear, WoodWorks® Linear, WoodWorks Grille, SoundScapes® Blades, Soundsoak™ Baffles, and Infusions® Blades — Concepts.
