The blighted Lindy Boggs Medical Center in New Orleans is being cleaned out in preparation for redevelopment, according to an article on The Times-Picayune website.
Work crews are cleaning asbestos and removing underground storage tanks.
The work is being funded with grants from the Environmental Protection Agency and the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality paying for the work,
