Bridge Connector and Skedulo Announce Partnership to Automate Complex Scheduling and Patient Care Workflows for Healthcare Providers

Bridge Connector, a technology company offering data-driven workflow automation to solve health IT interoperability challenges, announced a partnership with Skedulo, a mobile workforce management platform that enables deskless workforce productivity. The partnership integrates Skedulo’s intelligent health care scheduling engine with leading electronic health record (EHR) solutions, as well as other health care technologies through Bridge Connector’s library of connectors.

The resulting automated processes will connect disparate data systems with bi-directional information sharing so that health care providers have seamless access to all necessary patient data. Consolidating data access to a single software interface improves efficiency, enhances patient and provider experience, and boosts the overall quality of patient care.

Skedulo’s scheduling engine and HIPAA-compliant mobile app secure and simplify complex health care schedules for organizations large and small. For example, by taking important factors into account such as provider qualifications, experience and appointment location, Skedulo automatically matches the right caregivers to the right patients, clustering nearby visits to reduce travel time.

Optimizing patient visits and improving efficiency requires information from various disparate health data systems. Bridge Connector utilizes its integration platform as a service, Destinations, to connect the Skedulo platform with EHRs and a variety of other platforms used across the health care landscape. With these integrations, Skedulo’s customers can work within a single environment to book patient appointments, develop care plans, access health demographics data and more, helping to automate labor intensive processes to enable more efficient care delivery and an improved patient experience.

More than 2.7 billion workers worldwide are deskless, comprising 80% of the total global workforce in almost every industry sector and segment.
