Smart building software developer Site 1001 has announced its Skylight Building Performance and Operations Platform, a big data platform for buildings in smart cities. Skylight collects and structures the myriad of data that impacts buildings–structural, operational, financial and environmental–into a single source of “Place Data” to make it easier for applications, analytics, and AI systems to help make buildings “smart.” Site 1001 is providing demonstrations of apps using the Skylight platform including a “building health” monitor, a mobile app that uses image analysis to report building issues, and “Carl,” a building voice assistant.
