CAMDEN releases new TCP/IP access control system

Camden Door Controls has released their new CV-350 Series TCP/IP and RS485 networked access control system. Designed for 2 to 6 door applications, the system also provides virtually unlimited system expansion.

In addition to its 8 – 128 bit card readers, the system also features fully integrated fingerprint reader and keypad support. The graphics based software is free and allows management of all user credentials from a single screen. The TCP/IP and RS485 networked access control system provides 24 time zones, 10 languages, 32 holiday schedules and an unlimited number of access levels. Inputs and output logic is fully configurable across the network.

System integration and management features include MS Access and SQL database support, intrusion and fire alarm integration, graphic site map display, automatic evacuation plan printing and built-in time and attendance.

Camden’s new access control system features 2 door controllers with distributed intelligence, which insures that each controller will maintain operation if a network connection is lost as well as a 360 day data retention upon power loss. The CV-350 Series 2 and 4 door system kits also include 2 Amp power supply, 40 VA transformer, lockable metal cabinets and proximity readers or biometric fingerprint readers.

The CV-350 controllers support all input and outputs required for control of two doors, which reduces the equipment costs of one door systems, and there is virtually no limit to the number of CV-350 controllers and users that can be seamlessly networked together in a single system. The system management software also supports multiple CV-350 systems via Internet or LAN connection.

Reporting features include customized reports with filter for time, user, department, reader or door, the ability to send reports by mail, web reporting with no installation of software needed and a ‘find user’ feature allows operator to see the current or last known location of a user

“Our innovative CV-350 is a powerful and flexible system filled with great features and designed to provide enhanced performance, better security and competitive value for smaller applications, while offering easier management and sophisticated networkable system operation for larger networks,” said David Price, Camden marketing manager.

Camden’s CV-350 Series TCP/IP and RS485 networked access control system is backed by a 3 year warranty.
