CENTRIA expands CASCADE metal panel system line

CENTRIA, a leader in architectural metal wall systems, has announced the expansion of panel profile options in its Profile Series CASCADE™ Metal Panel System. An additional nine interchangeable rainscreen panels will provide architects with even more options to create dramatic wall configurations.

“When we launched our CASCADE metal panel system two years ago we provided architects with a completely new aesthetic option in metal rainscreen design,” said Jeff Peskowitz, Profile Series and Metal Composite Material Product Manager, CENTRIA. “With the latest additions to our CASCADE product line, architects now have the freedom to envision more creative building envelope designs than ever before.”

CASCADE’s 1-1/2” deep rib combines a soft curve with an angular slope, creating a play of light and shadow that has never before been featured on a metal façade. The new profile panels include CASCADE CC-200, CC-210, CC-220, CC-610, CC-612, CC-613, CC-620, CC-623, CC-630.

The new panels’ concealed fasteners and common-lock joints work interchangeably with all the existing CASCADE profiles, as well as with CENTRIA’s complete line of popular Concept Series® single-skin panels. Each panel can be used in horizontal or vertical orientation, and interchanging the panels makes it possible for architects to create a unique, custom design with an unbroken appearance. Coupled with CENTRIA’s MetalWrapTM insulated composite backup panel, the product achieves superior, long-term thermal and moisture performance as the ultimate rainscreen solution. The product’s all-weather installation capabilities also ensure rapid installation time.

Additionally, the panels can be produced with either an embossed or smooth finish. Further design options include the CASCADE EcoScreen® perforated panel available in the CC-260 profile. Finally, CASCADE profiles can be used in combination with CENTRIA’s MicroSeam® Corners. Using cutting-edge structural bonding techniques, the panel corners appear virtually seamless, extending the shape of the CASCADE panel all the way to the edge.
