Clarke Celebrates 100 Years of Providing True Blue Clean
Clarke, the tried and trusted brand for commercial floor cleaning solutions, is pleased to celebrate its 100th anniversary as a leader in building the most durable and reliable floor cleaning machines in the industry.
"We are honored and humbled to achieve this milestone and celebrate 100 years of delivering quality floor care products and effective solutions that make the tough job of cleaning easier, more enjoyable and more effective,” said Jonathan Kingsbury, vice president of Commercial Sales with Nilfisk. “Our success stems not only from our commitment to providing our customers with better ways to keep their facilities clean, but also from our customers’ unwavering commitment to achieving the kind of clean that only Clarke can provide.”
According to Kingsbury, simultaneous to its anniversary, Clarke is also embarking on a rebranding effort designed to accentuate the keys to its success. Called “True Blue,” the
new brand platform makes clear that only Clarke, whose equipment is blue in color, can get floors truly clean. The name also celebrates those everyday blue collar heroes who
use Clarke equipment day in and day out to achieve the cleanest clean available.
Since it’s founding, Clarke has been an industry leader, developing the first battery powered walk-behind scrubber in 1956, the first drum sander for the rental market in 1959,
the first carpet extractor in 1968. Today, Clarke continues this heritage by designing commercial floor cleaning solutions that help meet the demand and challenges of day-to-day
floor care, including automatic floor scrubbers, floor polishers, burnishers, sweepers, carpet extractors, and vacuum cleaners.
This year alone, Clarke has introduced five new pieces of cleaning equipment, among them the EX40 Carpet Extractor, the MA10 Upright Micro Scrubber, the RA40 Rider Micro
Scrubber, and the SA40 Stand-on Scrubber.
