Cleanspace Recruits Executives to Lead North American Expansion


CleanSpace Technology, a global manufacturer of powered air purifying respiratory protection, has selected Rick Marquez as its Vice-President of Sales, Americas and Ken Henry as the Director of Sales, Healthcare. 

The new executives will drive sales and build the distribution and sales representative network for CleanSpace’s innovative powered air purifying respirators (PAPR) products throughout North America and Latin America in the welding, healthcare, mining, energy and laboratory/research industries. 

“The Americas are an important part of our growth strategy and this market is hungry for new respiratory products that better protect workers’ respiratory systems while enabling them to be comfortable and comply with safety regulations,” commented Alex Birrell, Chief Executive Officer of CleanSpace Technology. “Rick and Ken have proven track records in developing international sales strategies and distribution networks that will make a significant impact to CleanSpace’s revenue.”

Marquez has extensive experience in the personal protection industry and held management positions at Justrite Manufacturing, Sensear and Moldex-Metric, Inc. He is an alumni of University of California, Los Angeles. Henry’s record of success includes vertical markets key to CleanSpace’s strategy. He spearheaded sales at 3M, Gerson and MaxAir and is a graduate of Illinois State University.
