Cleveland Medical Devices Selects Infor to Streamline Data Exchange across Products

Infor®, a leading provider of beautiful business applications specialized by industry and built for the cloud, today announced Cleveland Medical Devices, Inc. (CleveMed) selection of the Infor Cloverleaf® Integration Suite.  CleveMed, a leading provider of home sleep apnea testing (HSAT) solutions, plans to imbed Infor’s solution into their product in order to capitalize on Infor’s speed and development, and make integration of their products as seamless as possible for healthcare organizations.  Infor Cloverleaf is a market leading, enterprise-caliber integration engine that facilitates the movement of highly secure data through disparate systems within and outside the healthcare enterprise.

“One of the most important trends in Healthcare today is the movement of care and monitoring into the community and closer to the patient via remote medical devices (IOT) and mobile applications.  For this to work well, we also need to efficiently return that data to the healthcare enterprise, securely and at scale,” said Mark Weber, senior vice president, Infor Healthcare. “Today that means having the ability to easily orchestrate that data exchange across a variety paradigms, such as proprietary or standard web service APIs, such as FHIR, and more traditional methods such as HL7v2 so common in legacy systems.   We are pleased to work with market leading innovators such as CleveMed to streamline that data exchange across our customer base.”

By imbedding Infor Cloverleaf into its product, CleveMed can utilize like-to-like coupling, their Cloverleaf system to the Cloverleaf system at a healthcare facility, to speed on-boarding and adoption, which can result in greater satisfaction and lower implementation costs .

“Our company’s goal has always been to expand the reach of sleep medicine with technologies that speed diagnosis for providers, reduce healthcare costs for payers, and improve patients’ experiences in the home. Partnering with Infor is what is going to take us to that next step,” said Sarah Weimer, director, Seep Services and Products, CleveMed. “Infor’s greatest advantage in the market is its customer footprint and reputation, which provides a tremendous advantage for CleveMed to grow our business globally.”

According to HIMSS Analytics, Infor Cloverleaf is the clear leader in clinical interoperability, and used by more healthcare providers than the next three largest competitors combined.[1]

“In an era of exceptionally high expectations for medical technology organizations to consistently deliver in the areas of innovation and quality, purchasing a tried and tested interoperability platform from Infor delivers important advantages in terms of cost and market competitiveness. Our company is committed to investing in cloud-based applications that will help medical device companies do business better.” continued Weber.
