Cooper Lighting joins California Lighting Technology Center


PEACHTREE CITY, Ga.  – Cooper Lighting, a leader at the forefront of transforming the lighting industry and setting an unmatched standard for innovation and reliability, is pleased to announce that it has joined the California Lighting Technology Center (CLTC) as an affiliate partner. Cooper Lighting will collaborate with the Center and affiliates to spearhead projects that accelerate the deployment and commercialization of energy-efficient lighting and daylighting technologies.

As part of the University of California, Davis, the CLTC is a research, development and demonstration facility established through a collaborative effort between the California Energy Commission, the U.S. Department of Energy and the National Electrical Manufacturers Association. Through active partnerships with government, industry, and academia, the Center includes full-scale lighting and daylighting application laboratories for the development and demonstration of next-generation, emerging lighting and daylighting technologies. The Center also works with legislative leaders and regulatory agencies on energy policy, lighting codes and building standards.
