Creative Solutions in Healthcare has acquired five skilled nursing facilities from Diversicare, effective July 1. This acquisition brings the company’s statewide footprint to 174 properties, including 153 skilled nursing locations.
The newly acquired facilities are located in Houston, Lockhart, Lampasas, Yorktown and Luling. Each location is planned to begin substantial upgrades to infrastructure and resident services.
Creative Solutions has confirmed that all resident mattresses, 475 in total, will be replaced as part of a broader effort to improve comfort and quality. Additional renovations will include updated furnishings and interior upgrades.
Creative Solutions has been gearing up for the acquisition since the official announcement made in mid-May. The company has arranged to bring food service and housekeeping teams in-house, ending outsourced contracts to strengthen quality control and accountability.
