Deaconess and Memorial Hospital Acquire Former St. Joseph's Hospital

The Huntingburg, Indiana property has been closed since 2007.

Deaconess Health System and Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center have acquired the former St. Joseph’s Hospital property in Huntingburg, Indiana. St. Joseph’s Hospital has been closed since 2007.

This location will offer much needed geriatric psychiatric services through a joint venture with Assurance Health. Approximately 45 employees will be hired. No other services are planned for this facility at this time. 

Renovations will begin immediately; a projected opening date and more information will be forthcoming.
