Diversey Awarded Three-Year Sole Source Supply Contract with Premier ASCEND Collaborative

Diversey announced it has been awarded the ASCEND® group purchasing contract for housekeeping products with Premier for a three-year term. Premier Inc. unites an alliance of approximately 3,900 U.S. hospitals and more than 150,000 other provider organizations.

This contract award offers Premier ASCEND members access to Diversey’s products at specially negotiated pricing and terms, and includes sole source supply of cleaning and disinfection chemicals and tools, along with leading floor care and building care products to meet healthcare facility needs.

“We’re thrilled to be selected as the sole source supplier for Premier’s ASCEND collaborative,” said Carolyn Cooke, Vice President Healthcare North America, Diversey. “Our products and value-added services, along with industry leading dilution control systems, have been an excellent value since the inception of the ASCEND collaborative, and we look forward to helping both new and existing ASCEND members create and maintain safe and more satisfying environments of care.”

“We strive to help healthcare organizations provide optimal patient care without compromising operational efficiency,” added Carolyn Cooke. “Assessing and helping select the best products and practices, and providing members with turnkey programs to facilitate implementation and training to staff will help members reduce the spread of infection, lower costs and create a safer environment for patients, visitors and staff.”

The contract with Diversey offers Premier’s ASCEND collaborative members continued access to housekeeping items at specially negotiated pricing and terms, beginning February 1, 2018.
