Duro-Last, Inc. introduces Duro-Guard XPS Hybrid Fan Fold

SAGINAW, MICHIGAN – Duro-Last, Inc. announces an addition to its Duro-Guard insulation product line with Duro-Guard XPS Hybrid Fan Fold for deck to sky roofing assemblies.

Duro-Guard XPS Hybrid Fan Fold 48” x 50’ XPS 3/8” is manufactured with a rigid extruded polystyrene core and wrapped with tough facers which create a durable water resistant board. XPS is highly resistant to heat flow and moisture penetration. This Duro-Last exclusive product comes with a film facer that is compatible with all roof membranes offered by Duro-Last. Duro-Guard XPS Hybrid Fan Fold incorporates a combination of both crush and cut fold methods. Each fold in the hybrid product is precisely cut to allow the board to lay flat and also contains a section that is crushed, which provides the product with the strength desired for installation in windy applications. Duro-Guard XPS Hybrid Fan Fold is for use with mechanically attached roof systems.

Duro-Guard XPS Hybrid Fan Fold is specifically designed for use as a recover board over granulated or smooth cap sheets; smooth built up roof systems, aggregate surfaced built up roofs (3/8” aggregate, max), aged coal tar pitch roofs and single-ply membranes. The advantage of using the Duro-Guard XPS Hybrid Fan Fold is the XPS board lays flat for a smooth appearance while the hybrid fold provides the product with the desired strength. Other benefits include: highly stable, inert, non-nutritive, contains no CFC’s, HCFCs, formaldehyde or VOC ozone depleting gases.

Duro-Last is known for prefabricated roofs, custom curbs and stacks, renowned quality assurance and technical field services, as well as industry-leading warranties. The addition of the Duro-Guard XPS Hybrid Fan Fold provides Duro-Last customers with another Edge-to-Edge & Deck-to-Sky™ roofing solution.
