Eaton’s Invue Arbor Family balances an organic design with WaveStream LED optical technology for an outstanding performance and look

Power management company Eaton, a 2016 ENERY STAR® Partner of the Year, today announced the launch of the award-winning Invue Arbor family of light-emitting diode (LED) luminaires, a new outdoor family featuring the company’s award-winning and patented WaveStreamTM LED technology. The luminaires feature an architectural organic luminaire design for area and pedestrian applications, while delivering precise optical control and an attractive pixilation-free performance with multiple control options for an enhanced pedestrian experience.

The complete family of post top, bollard and wall-mounted architectural luminaires provide visual uniformity, designed to create seamless architectural transitions from site to building applications across an entire outdoor area campus setting. The products offer improved efficiency and performance compared to typical high intensity discharge (HID) options, while reducing the distracting LED pixilation and uncomfortable brightness typically associated with other LED product solutions.

“Our new lighting offering is fully controllable, helping to maximize operating efficiency while reducing cost and maintenance,” said Kraig Kasler, president, Eaton’s Lighting Division. “Connected lighting solutions, such as Eaton’s LumaWatt Outdoor Wireless Control and Monitoring System is available to wirelessly control, monitor and communicate lighting needs in real time.”

The Invue Arbor LED family is available with a range of control options, including integral 0-10 volt (V) dimming drivers, integrated occupancy sensors and wireless monitoring and communication.

Eaton’s Invue Arbor LED luminaires are designed around the industry-leading and patented WaveStream LED optical platform. Using laser precise AccuAimTM technology, the Arbor provides quality site and area distributions normally not available in a reduced glare solution. Superior visual uniformity and pole spacing, with efficacies in excess of 90 lumens per watt can be achieved. The balance between organic design and WaveStream LED technology allows the Arbor to deliver an unprecedented experience both day and night.

The Arbor family was recently honored with two awards, presented at LIGHTFAIR International (LFI) last week. The post top luminaire received a Recognized honor in the prestigious Next Generation LuminairesTM Solid-State Lighting Design Outdoor Competition for its appearance and smooth and uniform distribution. In addition, the family received a judges’ Citation award from the LFI Innovation Awards®, a special recognition for an innovative product at the judges’ discretion. The family was recognized for its performance, low-glare and organically-inspired outdoor appearance.
