Eaton's efficient and versatile LED product family provides up to 79 percent energy savings for commercial buildings

PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. … Power management company Eaton today announced the introduction of the Corelite™ Divide™ Series from its Cooper Lighting division. Incorporating patented WaveStream™ light-emitting diode (LED) technology, the architecturally inspired family of recessed, suspended, surface and wall luminaires is an energy efficient and affordable solution, providing up to 79 percent energy savings for commercial buildings.

“The Divide family provides customers an energy-efficient and affordable LED alternative designed to replace linear fluorescent luminaires,” says Mark Eubanks, president, Eaton’s Cooper Lighting Division. “These fixtures meet standards that we didn't think possible even a few short years ago, directing light where it’s needed most to offer benefits above and beyond even the most efficient fluorescent and LED luminaires available.”

The product line diversity offers solutions for a unified look throughout an entire building, from open and private offices to corridors and stairwells.

The WaveStream LED technology features laser-precise AccuAim™ optics arranged in exacting patterns, providing unparalleled brightness control while delivering the maximum amount of light on task. Eaton’s WaveStream LED technology allows for the Divide series’ low profile design, which satisfies limited plenum space for recessed troffer-type products and meets the desired contemporary look for pendant, surface and wall fixtures. In addition, the Divide series’ high performance allows for wider luminaire spacing between fixtures, providing uniform illumination even in low ceiling environments. The products can offer up to 79 percent in energy savings using the 2012 International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) and maintaining Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) required light levels for an office space (30 footcandles). In some applications, the family performance exceeds the most stringent energy codes in commercial building ambient applications.
