VANCOUVER, Wash.—EmpRes Healthcare, a 100% employee owned company, announced today that an agreement has been closed involving the purchase of No Place Like Home Senior Care in Gardnerville, Nevada from its founder, Rick Ackerson. The EmpRes Healthcare affiliated companies currently operate three skilled nursing and post-acute care centers in the Carson Valley/Carson City area.

Brent Weil, Chief Operations Officer for EmpRes Healthcare, said, “This acquisition aligns with our Motto, Our Commitment to Caring, in that it will allow our company to provide continued services to those who need them after leaving our centers as well as a new demographic who are not yet in need of the services we provide. Rick has built a great business and we look forward to the synergies it will create when he and his team members join our organization.”

All of the employees at No Place Like Home Senior Care will join the EmpRes Healthcare team so their current clients and family members should not notice any changes in the services they are receiving. EmpRes Healthcare will look to expand the business to serve additional clients who are in need of personal care services.
