Enlighted launches EM 3.6; next generation energy manager

Enlighted, Inc., the leading provider of Internet of Things (IoT) solutions for commercial buildings, today introduced Energy Manager 3.6, the latest release of its system management software. This release delivers on Enlighted's commitment to ensure that its customers have the best in class security.

EM 3.6 has the most comprehensive security options for deployments within a corporate environment. In addition to offering a hardened Linux form factor for standalone deployments (with ports minimized for security), EM 3.6 also supports 2048 Bit Certificates with a SHA256 Cipher. Customers can be assured that EM 3.6 meets their corporate security requirements. The EM 3.6 will begin shipping in June 2016.

"Enlighted takes security very seriously," said Enlighted Founder Tanuj Mohan. "Every part of the system is built to the highest security standards, and each new release undergoes rigorous testing to ensure there are no known vulnerabilities. This will continue to be a commitment we have to our customers and partners going forward."

Title 24 Compliance Check: EM 3.6 adds new capabilities, allowing electrical contractors and partners, to easily demonstrate compliance, with a new Title 24 Reporting mode. The software will provide documentation that can be used as backup technical paperwork for the Title 24 online forms. The accuracy of the testing and the time saved in automating these tests will make the testing process significantly easier.

"Enlighted's next gen Energy Manager revolutionizes the testing process," said Brian R. Campbell, preconstruction executive/partner from Redwood Electric. "Now Title 24 compliance is elegantly verified and simpler than ever before."

Color Tuning Support: EM 3.6 complements Enlighted's 4th Generation Sensor family by offering color tuning support for the sensors. The system now supports astronomical clock based profiles to allow sensors to change fixture color temperatures, which has the potential to support circadian rhythms and color preference.
