Exova extends water testing capability with new fleet

With the introduction of a fleet of new refrigerated vehicles, Exova, the global testing, calibration and advisory services provider, is extending its water testing capability for facilities management companies.

The new vans help extend the total number of drop-off points available to customers to 30 throughout the UK, supplementing the company’s four testing laboratories in Birmingham, Camberley, Glasgow and Grimsby.  With collections daily, from Monday to Saturday depending on the region from refrigerated storage facilities, and with testing carried out daily, including weekends, results can be turned round within 24 hours.

Phil Coles, Exova’s director of Health Sciences Europe, said: “This investment broadens our geographic spread in direct response to customer requirements, particularly multi-site companies operating across a number of regions, who are looking for fast turnaround and consistency in testing.

“By using our own refrigerated vans and providing the consumables, traceability is guaranteed from Cornwall to the North of Scotland, and ultimately customers benefit from competitive pricing achieved through our improved efficiencies.”
