Exterior Maintenance Made Easier with Groundskeeping Solutions

An organization's exterior and grounds is often the first – and sometimes only – impression the public is exposed to. Everything from the condition and upkeep of the parking lot, trails, and sidewalks, to the lawn, shrubs, and trees sends a message.

Having the correct tools, equipment, parts, and services can make a big difference in the efficiency and ease of grounds maintenance.

National Joint Powers Alliance® (NJPA) is pleased to announce it has recently awarded contracts to 15 vendors who offer grounds maintenance solutions. Through these contracts, government, education, and nonprofit entities can purchase mowers, chippers, diggers, landscape rakes, snow blowers and plow attachments, and much more.

"Groundskeeping can mean something different for each of our members depending on the size and make up of their lot and geographic location," said Tony Glenz, NJPA lead contract administrator. "Through this solicitation process, we found 15 top-quality vendors who can readily meet the needs of our entire membership. We're pleased with the depth and breadth of equipment and supplies available."

Purchasing off an NJPA contract streamlines the procurement process for public entities, saving them time and money. Effective as of August 18, 2017, the contracts are available to all NJPA members throughout the US and Canada.
