Firestone Building Products expands aluminum plate wall panel product line

INDIANAPOLIS – Firestone Building Products Company, LLC, a leading manufacturer and supplier of a comprehensive “Roots to Rooftops” product portfolio, is extending its UNA-CLAD™ Aluminum Plate Panel offering to include the Series 3200 No Return (NR).

The Series 3200 NR provides commercial building professionals an additional option for enhanced aesthetics. The panels are fabricated using an extruded perimeter frame attachment and side clip. Instead of caulking at its panel joint, the system features an aluminum plate spline. The fact that the metal is not folded over to create a return edge sets this product apart from the rest of the line. This offers designers the choice of a crisp, clean edge panel.

Like the original Series 3200, the 3200 NR features:

· Reveal spline at panel joints (adjustable from .50 inches and up)

· Spline material fabricated from the same color as panels or contrasting color

· Maximum width dimension (58 inches)

· Bent shape choices

Thickness options include .125 or .190 inches. Kynar 500®/Hylar 5000® high performance fluorocarbon resinous coatings, anodized and Class I and II batch anodized finishing options are available.

“Firestone Building Products is dedicated to continually expanding its product portfolio to address the needs of commercial building professionals,” said Joe Marzahl, metal projects manager at Firestone Building Products. “This product line extension demonstrates that commitment and we hope it offers architects, in particular, more flexibility when it comes to design opportunities for their projects.”
