For Third Straight Year, Emerson Network Power Positioned in Leaders Quadrant In Gartner Magic Quadrant for DCIM Tools

Gartner, Inc., has released its third Magic Quadrant for Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM), and for the third straight year has positioned Emerson Network Power, soon to become Vertiv, in the Leaders quadrant.

This year’s Magic Quadrant report evaluated eight data center infrastructure management (DCIM) vendors and recognized Emerson Network Power as a Leader for completeness of vision and ability to execute. It also identified product strengths as ease of implementation, ease of use, workflow integration and modularity, as well as company strengths of strong end-user support and sales channel.

“Today’s data centers and telecommunications networks are increasingly complex and rapidly converging, and the Trellis™ platform brings clarity and network-wide control to our customers and their critical systems,” said Steve Hassell, president of data center solutions for Emerson Network Power in North America. “We will continue to improve platform capabilities to allow users to keep pace with changes in technology and provide opportunities for optimized management.”

The Trellis platform is Emerson Network Power’s flagship DCIM solution, delivering visibility, control and real-time management capabilities to every corner of today’s networks. Whether it’s point solutions for management of specific sites or systems, or more holistic DCIM solutions that manage loads all across the network, the benefits are the same: reduced risk and increased efficiency.
