Frisbie Hospital and Unidine continue to deliver on fresh food pledge

ROCHESTER, N.H. -- Frisbie Memorial Hospital's commitment to health and wellness is evident through its partnership with Unidine dining services. Unidine, a food and dining management services company, is dedicated to fresh thinking and culinary excellence, which aligned well with Frisbie's health prevention and health promotion values. Moreover, because Unidine takes an innovative approach to food service that focuses on locally-sourced fresh food, Frisbie staff, patients, and visitors can enjoy a farm-to-table dining experience with food made from scratch without additives, chemicals, and preservatives. Through the company's relationship with local farmers, Frisbie is able to host throughout the summer months, Unidine's Farm to U Farmer's Markets featuring fresh, locally grown produce as well as freshly baked breads and pastries.

"Frisbie Memorial Hospital has embraced Unidine's Fresh Food Pledge and their scratch cooking philosophy," said Frisbie Memorial Hospital clinical dietitian Amy Doucette. "Unidine has transformed the culinary experience at Frisbie, enhancing our commitment to residents, staff and the community."

Unidine's operating philosophy combines nutrition, culinary expertise, hospitality and education. Among the unique and award-winning programs Unidine brings to Frisbie Hospital include, Hydrate for Health, an infused water hydration program, and OHSOGOOD, Unidine's proprietary health and wellness brand. Plus, in keeping with a made-from-scratch philosophy, Unidine team members sign a Fresh Food Pledge, which reflects the organizations continued commitment to culinary integrity.
