Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) in Missouri recently broke ground on a new radiation oncology facility.

The facility will have up-to-date radiation technology and will be located near the Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare main campus in Clinton. It will allow patients to get cancer care, see familiar specialists and staff and help relieve the burden of traveling far from home to receive treatment. The center will be complete in approximately one year.

“We are extremely excited to bring these services to our patients and the surrounding area,” said Craig Thompson, Golden Valley’s CEO. “I would like to thank everyone who contributed to our campaign to bring radiation oncology to Clinton. I truly appreciate your generous support in making this life changing service available.”
