Green Seal launches new client services program as industry marketing leader joins staff

Washington, DC – Green Seal™, the nation’s premier environmental certification organization and the original “Green Seal of Approval,” announces the launch of the Client Services Program led by Mark Stanland, a long-time industry marketing leader.

The Client Services Program is designed to provide tailored marketing support and strategic direction for manufacturers and service providers with, or working toward, Green Seal certifications. Green Seal’s objective in launching this program is to assist current and potential clients in driving increased demand for their Green Seal-certified products and services.  Clients will be offered consultative assistance that will range from reviewing and collaborating on marketing plans and strategies to developing sales and marketing collateral for certified products or services.

Mark Stanland will lead the program as Vice President of Client Services.  Formerly with Wausau Paper, Mark comes to Green Seal with twenty-five years’ experience in marketing and product development, leading the development of the Wausau’s Green Seal program and green platform.

“Green Seal is truly thrilled to welcome Mark Stanland to our staff,” said Dr. Arthur Weissman, President and CEO of Green Seal.  “Mark has been the model for creative, proactive use of Green Seal certification to achieve greater sales and market share.  Mark will be able to apply his expertise to support all Green Seal clients so they may also benefit in the marketplace from having achieved Green Seal certification.”

Mark will work closely with Green Seal’s Marketing Department and its VP, Linda Chipperfield.  He will assist clients in utilizing the Marketing Department’s collateral, while also working creatively with clients to forge strategies, plans, and materials for more effectively marketing their certified products and services.

The new Client Services Program will offer complimentary basic marketing services to all Green Seal clients and a more in-depth level for those requesting a higher level of assistance on a fee-for-service basis.  More information on the program will be forthcoming shortly.
