Guerbet to Present Integrated Offerings at 2018 European Congress of Radiology

Guerbet, a global specialist in contrast media and medical imaging solutions will be presenting its offerings for CT/CathLab and MRI, along with its new Contrast&Care® application, at the ECR to be held in Vienna, Austria from February 28 to March 4, 2018.

A flagship radiology event, the ECR  - which plays host to almost 20,000 medical imaging professionals from over 130 countries each year  - is a forum for discussion on the latest advances in the sector.

Contrast&Care®, new digital contrast media injection management solution for medical imaging centers.

Contrast&Care® enables all the information on injections during medical imaging examinations (contrast media, protocols, patient data, etc.) to be combined and interfaces with the information systems used in radiology such as the RIS (Radiology Information System) and PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System).

"Guerbet is developing a portfolio of digital solutions to facilitate patient management and monitoring by radiology centers. Contrast&Care® offers a set of features related to actions associated with the imaging procedure: the traceability of the contrast media used, the management of the injection protocols and the patients' safety. We aim to enhance the work of healthcare workers on a daily basis by helping save time, increasing productivity and providing better visibility over their activity," commented Levi Cheng, Director of the Imaging Solutions & Services Business Unit.

With this new solution, available in seven languages, Guerbet extends its expertise to the entire value chain. Contrast&Care®complements Guerbet's digital services offering in synergy with Dose&Care®, the operational solution for tracking patient exposure to ionizing rays. Contrast&Care® and Dose&Care® will be demonstrated on Guerbet's booth (X2/220) throughout the event.
