Healthcare Surfaces Summit To Welcome Keynote Speaker EPA’s Dr. Stephen Tomasino

Healthcare Surfaces Summit, the industry’s leading nonprofit focused on the prevention of the spread of pathogens via surfaces, announced today the keynote speaker for their 3rd annual Summit event: Dr. Stephen Tomasino, Senior Scientist at the EPA’s Office of Pesticide Programs (OPP) Microbiology Laboratory located at the Environmental Science Center, Fort Meade, Maryland.

He will also share ongoing Agency work on quantitative test methods for antimicrobial products. “We are honored and thrilled to have Dr. Tomasino attend this year’s Summit. His contributions to support EPA’s goal to advance the science of antimicrobial product efficacy testing by adoption of new quantitative methods are invaluable in our efforts to put an end to hospital acquired infections” said Linda Lybert, Healthcare Surfaces Summit’s Founder and Executive Director.
