Healthcare construction spending will continue to rise in the near future, according to an article on the Health Facilities Management website.
A recent report from Gordian Group said spending for new hospital construction is projected to be more than $7 billion in 2016 and increase to more than $8 billion by 2020.
Renovation spending is expected to grow as well.
For 2016, healthcare renovation spending is expected to be between $6 billion and $7 billion.
