When judging design projects for seniors, Environments for the Aging blogger sees deep sensitivity to the future users
When judging design projects at the recent 2014 Environments for Aging Design Showcase event, Environments for the Aging blogger Bill Pemberton of the Forté Group Inc. saw in the designs and the other judges a core ethic of caring that brought great designs to light and a deep sensitivity to the future users. To Pemberton, every design looked like the ultimate senior living utopia but the judges' laser-like focus drilled below simple aesthetics and fastened onto omissions, oversights and disconnects.
