High-Performance Buildings event to include session on innovative workplaces and WELL certification

The event will be held in Arlington, Texas, on May 17-18, 2017

This year's High-Performance Buildings + Workplaces event will include a session on innovative workplaces and WELL certification.

The WELL Building Standard™, is the first building standard to focus on enhancing people's health and well-being through the built environment. WELL Certification (and enhancing the seven concepts of air, water, nourishment, light, fitness, comfort, and mind) will assist you in designing and operating a work place that benefits your employees' overall well-being. The WELL Building Certification is an evidence based system for measuring, certifying, and monitoring the performance of building features that impact health and well-being of our workers. Learn what you can do to improve the work space for your employees.

Learning objectives:

1. Learn the costs and opportunity of poor well-being
2. Understand the WELL Certification and International WELL Building Institute
3. Obtain knowledge regarding the seven WELL concepts
4. Opportunities to install wellness in the workplace and the impact

The session, scheduled for May 17 at 10:00 a.m., will be given by Raymond Carney, Vice President of Markon Solutions.

The event will be held in Arlington, Texas, on May 17-18, 2017.
