Hitec Power Protection strengthens global, dynamic continuous power leadership, with new CEO appointment


HITEC Power Protection (HITEC), the inventor of diesel rotary UPS, today announced the appointment of Garrett Forde as the company’s new CEO.  Forde is a well-respected leader with in-depth commercial and business development experience working with international technology companies in the Americas, Asia and EMEA.

Bringing a solid track record in creating unique business strategies and driving performance improvement, Forde enhances HITEC’s strong market presence with proven skills such as product / business development in industrial products and scientific instrumentation, as well as organization change management in complex go-to-markets models. Prior to joining HITEC, Forde held leadership roles for a combined 15 years, within Intelligent Energy, Axisto and Philips. With an MBA and a degree in Physics, Forde is also skilled at balancing technology and commercial aspects of a business while having a keen sense and appreciation for employees and cultural diversity.
