Impact HUB and Herman Miller partner to inspire connectivity around the world

The new approach to work is to design environments that bring people together and enliven their creativity, performance, and sense of connection. With creative inspiration in mind Herman Miller, Inc., announces a new partnership with Impact HUB, a collaborative community that provides inspiring professional environments for entrepreneurs and remote workers seeking greater connectivity in nearly 40 cities across the globe. The new relationship builds on Herman Miller's approach to the total work experience. By following the company's Living Office model, workers can choose the environment that best suits their needs for an hour, a day or a month.

"Environments are made up of physical and intangible qualities," said Impact HUB Board Member Tim Freundlich, "We create spaces and offer tools that enliven the human spirit and enrich the world. We can't imagine a better partner than Herman Miller to unlock this potential."

Impact HUB offers members the ability to work from any HUB location, from San Francisco to Boston, to Amsterdam or Singapore. More importantly, users can draw from the global membership to gather resources such as peer-to-peer funding, market testing for member products and services, or sourcing talent for new ventures. The ability to connect talent from all over the world helps foster a natural transference of ideas, people and at times investment capital.

"We're excited about the quality and power of the Impact HUB's community," said Greg Parsons, Herman Miller's VP of Landscape Environments. "This relationship offers an opportunity to create spaces better equipped for today's working landscape, and the ability to gain insights from a thriving community."

The Partnership provides Impact HUB with competitive pricing on furniture as well as Herman Miller's unique insights on working behavior and landscapes. This knowledge is integral to Herman Miller's Living Office approach, enabling creativity and optimized individual and group performance in a rapidly changing environment. Through the Impact HUB relationship Herman Miller also gains the ability to research working trends and space through a diverse set of professionals located on five continents. To date, Herman Miller has helped furnish seven Impact HUB sites in cities such as San Francisco, CA, Boulder, CO, Cambridge, MA, and Raleigh NC with more installations in planning stages— including Mexico City and Monterrey, MX.
