America’s Physician Groups (APG), the leading association in the country representing physician organizations practicing capitated, coordinated care, today welcomes Jennifer Jackman as the association’s Vice President of Business Development. In this position, Ms. Jackman will oversee recruiting of new physician organization members that are working in or moving toward value-based payment models, and will report to Don Crane, APG President and CEO.
“Jennifer’s hands-on experience with physician groups like our members makes her well-suited for APG,” said Crane. “She’s been on the front lines of the volume-to-value movement and knows the commitment physician groups have to improving the quality and value of healthcare they provide to the patients and communities they serve.”
Previously, Jackman served as CEO for Edinger Medical Group, based in Orange County, California. Ms. Jackman has also served as COO for MemorialCare Medical Foundation and has held other senior leadership positions with Monarch Healthcare and Bright Health Physicians.
“APG and its members are driving the evolution and transformation of how we deliver healthcare in America,” said Ms. Jackman. “They are the tip of the spear in the value movement and I’m excited to join them on this journey.”
Ms. Jackman holds a bachelor's degree in Public Administration from the University of La Verne and received her master’s degree in Health Care Ethics from Creighton University.
