Larger health systems are setting up around-the-clock security operations centers


With cyber attacks becoming more common, some large health systems are setting up around-the-clock security operations centers, according to an article on the Modern Healthcare website.

The centers are used to organize cybersecurity personnel, technology and processes. 

Five hospitals in the University of California Health system are currently exploring whether to work together and share the costs and labor for establishing a joint security center. 

Having a security operations centers can give a health system daily cybersecurity information to monitor emerging threats.
